The Warlock of Firetop Mountain is the first, and the basic premise of the book is the classic "dungeons crawl" in which an adventurer must explore an underground maze, encountering increasingly powerful threats and finding useful items along the way.

2. The Citadel of Chaos
In this adventure, the journey to Dire's citadel, explore his dastardly maze-like fortress, overcoming traps, hostile fantasy creatures and collecting certain artifacts; which must find to complete the quest. 3. Deathtrap Dungeon
In this Deathtrap Dungeon book, there is a successful town in north Allansia called Fang. It's ruler, a certain Baron Sukumvit, decided to make Fang the centre of a great contest, to be held once each year, called the 'Trail of Champions'. Now, this Trail of Champions involved the Baron tunneling a deadly labyrinth into the hills behind the town. The labyrinth, named Deathtrap Dungeon, was then riddled with fiendish traps and vicious monsters to trick and test any contestants trying their luck.

4. Stormslayer
After years of peace, the kingdom of Femphrey is at war again - only this time it is with the elements! Devastating storms sweep across the country, destroying all in their path. 5. Creature of Havoc
The book revolves around a necromancer named Zharradan Marr, who was a child of a witch. However, he wanted much more power than witchcraft could offer him, so he fled from them to establish his own empire, much to the witches' concern. As he began to build his power, he managed to infiltrate an elven kingdom and steal some magic vapors from them, which was the source of their power, and also began to creating his own monsters. Playing as a monster trying to master its instincts and gain understanding of its nature and control of its fate. It sets the scene for a masterful adventure and memorable climax.

6. City of Thieves
In this book player takes the role of an adventurer who has arrived in a small town that is being bullied by an evil undead warlock named Zanzar Bone. You are approached by the mayor and asked to go and find a friend of his who lives in the city of Port Blacksand, the city of thieves that the title of the book derives its name. However, there is a little twist because when you do find Nicodemus, he simply tells you that he is too old to go off adventuring so he tells you how to kill Zanzar Bone and sends you on your way.

7. Blood Bones
This Fighting Fantasy gamebook is set in the usual fantasy world of Titan, on the continent of The Old World. The player is seeking revenge on the pirate-lord Cinnabar for the murder of their family. It transpires that Cinnabar was killed but has been revived by voodoo. The player must find the pirates' secret hideout, beginning in the Port of Crabs. The player character encounters Cinnabar in both his undead and fully revived forms, and has a final showdown with Cinnabar's Voodoo god, Quezkari.

8. Night Necromancer
Death is not the end...You are a knightly warrior, returning to your ancestral castle having been away for a number of years fighting a crusade against the forces of darkness in the Mauristatian principality of Bathoria. You are just within sight of home when you are struck down by a band of murderers. Driven by the need to know why you have been killed, and on whose orders, you rise again as a ghost. This is where your adventure begins, as you set out to solve the mystery of your own murder. All that follows occurs during the course of one night.

9. House of Hell
This is an absolutely terrific game-book, a fiendishly conceptualized puzzle that's made even more fun to play by its beautifully grizzly - albeit utterly clichéd - horror setting and nightmare plot, wherein our hapless adventurer finds himself knocking on the door of a mansion for help after a car accident. The owner of the house, an early is, naturally, pretty evil and into devil worship and sacrifice, and it's your job to escape from this madness. You'll meet the usual assortment of ghosts, zombies, vampires and hell dogs along the way and you'll die a ridiculous amount of times along the way.

10. Eye of the Dragon

The player must claim a solid gold dragon from within a dungeon beneath Dark wood Forest. During the journey the player allies with a character called little big, a relative of a character from a previous Fighting Fantasy game-book. The.The player must collect keys during the journey. These keys will allow the player to open boxes at the final puzzle, which contain a clue. The player must pull five weapons out of the wall in the correct order or be electrocuted and killed. The player must also find the second emerald eye of the dragon or be killed by poison darts while trying to move the golden dragon.
